Shelaindra is a PMI/SAP certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with 10+ years experience in successfully managing and delivering multiple medium and large sized SAP Implementation, Enhancements, Upgrade, Archiving and Support programs, mainly in the Utility Industry. In the last 8+ years of his impressive 26+ years of experience, he has overseen many SAP ERP and vendor supplied OEM application projects with multimillion dollar budgets and large teams in the Utilities industry. He has successfully lead multiple end-to-end SAP implementations covering software and vendor evaluation and selection process, project initiation, building robust business cases, steering business requirements workshops, blueprints,solution designs, realization, testing, training, change management, cutovers and post go live support activities, with major Utilities in North America including NW Natural Gas and PacifiCorp Electric.

Shelaindra is a hands-on certified SAP Functional consultant in core R/3 ERP- MM/WM/MRP areas and has lead many projects as a SAP certified SolMan and ASAP Project Manager. He has effectively lead SAP projects from 3.1x to ECC 6.0 versions. In the Utilities space he has been instrumental in effectively initiating and leading engagements ranging from SAP core ERP, HCM, BI, IP, GRC, Business Connector, and Netweaver etc., to Utilities specific OEM application implementation, mission critical interfacing and upgrade of their Outage Management Systems, Electric Network Repository systems, Substation /Circuit History of Operational Loading systems, Network and Distribution Planning and Analysis systems, Operational, Event and Real Time Data Management Systems etc., that helped ensure uninterrupted electrical power supply to millions of customers in the Pacific Northwest. He won the coveted “PMI Project Excellence Award 2005”, Portland, Oregon Chapter, for superior performance and execution of exemplary project management while managing these projects at PacifiCorp electric utility.

He is currently the Utilities and NW Region Practice Director overseeing Utilities initiatives and business development including pre-sales activities, post-sales to implementation and post go-live support. He is also spearheading the design and development of the Sparta Utilities IP including Methodology, Processes, Templates, Pre-Configured Solution and Knowledgebase that will help jumpstart Utilities projects implementing SAP ERP solutions. He is responsible for developing practice specific GTM strategies, marketing collaterals and thought leadership presentations and for directing complex, high-profile projects requiring coordination of large cross-functional teams with diverse business and technical backgrounds requiring onshore/offshore collaboration.
